Training
A positive, practical on-course experience.
We deliver training to meet the needs of individuals
and of the organisation, and adjust our input, style or content
as and when those needs change. We recognise that our subject
area can be stressful, and we work in a way that allows people
to exchange their personal views and to learn, in a safe and constructive
arena.
Our trainers understand the relevant skills staff
at different levels feel they already have, where particularly
they feel they need support, and what recurring situations they
find challenging. All our trainers have recent experience as practitioners
in the field they are training, and will help support people with
practical strategies and real-life examples of what works and
what does not.
We use a range of learning activities to accommodate
a range of learning styles for example: formal trainer input;
facilitated group discussion; small group exercises; pair work;
self and peer reflection; coaching; metaphor and case studies
on all our programmes.
International risk assessments, conflict management,
personal safety, security and presentation skills. Drugs Awareness,
advanced body language assessments.
